Not in most cases - and in most cases it's probably a very good thing. If we only got what we deserve it would generally be very little. That would be a shock, in "the West", wouldn't it! Maybe it's a bit like the market place - you may not always get what you pay for, one way or the other, so one should be glad when it's the other because at least one of you has got a bargain. And in the end there are no bills to pay - except those others pay on your behalf. Happy thought?

When you say 'we' who do you refer to? That is an important distinction for this question!
The thing is that God makes a distinction between those that are his worshipers and those that are not! The treatment differs for each kind!
Worshipers are treated as a father treats his children with immediate repercussions resulting from sin! This permits salvation.
Unbelievers and the disapproved are treated like strangers and get what they deserve at the very end. Below are two links addressing this. There are more subject pages on this HP.

I always believe in "what's goes around, comes around" and "pay it forward" concept. We usually don't get what we deserve mostly but that's part of life and sooner or later time will tell in the end. It's because of so much of intolerancy and have the need to 'quick to show own rights out' that ended with lots of violence or unneccessary deaths.

Life is unfair. Some times we don't get what we deserve, but that is just another thing to fight in life. Another goal to chase. Gives some excitement in life. But we must fight for it and never give up. That is why, when we get what we deserved, it is really sweet and nice. Life would not be interesting if you know that you can always get what you deserve.

We get what we focus on. Now you know that already, I'm sure. Do you have some deep seated belief repeatedly handed down to you that you need to do what someone tells you in order to deserve anything good? Where the heck would that come from? Tell me you were just joking! Ay!

if you believe nothing on this earth belongs to anyone or anything ( as I do ) then deserveing something isnt possible. and everything becomes a gift to be enjoyed, because even the most unpleasurable things are experiences in which we grade the rest of our experiences. its the yin and the yang. could we understand evil with out good. would we know the supposed value of 2 if we didnt have 1. therfore my answer concludes with yes. we need ALL experiences. and everything we recieve is usefull.
........or not.

No. I think we will get whatever we truly deserve in the end. Right now it seems like people who hurt others have nothing bad happen to them in return, and people who live their lives to help others get slapped in the face by life.

Deserve from whom. The Judgment is negative, the Will is positive. Do we get from the Judgment that which we get from the Will. No.
"(3) .....(clip) The human aspect of nature exists only for social man; for only then does nature exist for him as a bond with man – as his existence for the other and the other’s existence for him – and as the life-element of human reality. Only then does nature exist as the foundation of his own human existence. Only here has what is to him his natural existence become his human existence, and nature become man for him. Thus society is the complete unity of man with nature – the true resurrection of nature – the consistent naturalism of man and the consistent humanism of nature.
Social activity and social enjoyment exist by no means only in the form of some directly communal activity and directly communal enjoyment, although communal activity and communal enjoyment – i.e., activity and enjoyment which are manifested and affirmed in actual direct association with other men – will occur wherever such a direct expression of sociability stems from the true character of the activity’s content and is appropriate to the nature of the enjoyment. We get what we deserve if we accept our good from the Universe.
The Universe wants us to have good, do we THINK we deserve it though?
Thoughts become things.
