Absolutely! You still have your other ovary. I had another child with just one ovary remaining after the removal of an ovarian cyst.

Yes it is possible if they remove the cyst but not if they remove the ovary. She will probably have to contact a fertility specialist to conceive and they might put her on medication to help control the cyst like metiform which is a diabetic drug but seems to help in this area or they might do what is called ovarian drilling

Removal of a cyst shouldn't effect your chances of conceiving unless there was severe damage done to both ovaries. I had an ovary removed in 2001 due to an ovarian tumor and I gave birth to a healthy little girl in November of last year. All you need to conceive is one healthy ovary and a hubby/boyfriend with a high enough sperm count. Good Luck to you.

My best friend had ovarian cysts removed when she was younger (about 18 yrs old?)... she now has 4 healthy beautiful children (29 yrs old)... she was told she would have problems concieving but she never has, I think a lot of it would depend on how large the cyst is/was. Oh, and she had them removed from both ovaries on different occasions.
