Acetylcholine would stimulate contraction of striated muscle(It has an opposite effect upon cardiac muscle).
Not sure about the second part, however, that being said: Certain neurons produce acetylcholine from acetyl CoA ,a respiratory intermediary substance, during the production of ATP. Therefore, it seems that cyanide would inhibit muscular contraction (?).
