agents delivered the body to a furious Stalin who put it in a chair and proceded to lambaste the thing(at the top of his lungs) for hours before having it buried?

Is there any truth to this? Whether there is or not, if you read the same thing, where did you read it?

For the life of me, I can't remember where I read it. I read a lot too, and have never seen it anywhere else. It might even be that I heard it from someone, that's why I'm trying to find out if anyone else has ever come across this.

Thanks to all.

Great bedtime story.

Hitler's body was burned. Only fragments of bone remained to be found after the war by Russian solders. Part of a skull and a partial jaw. These were "found" in the Russian archives only after communism fell. Partial jaw was confirmed as Hitler's. Skull plate had bullet exit hole which fits the story of how he died. It has not been confirmed that this is part of Hitler's skull.

These are the only remains of Hitler.

The body was burned and it was unrecognizable without medical examination. Not a nice thing to talk to.
Actually I am not sure if the whole body went to ussr, maybe only the head. I don't think it was ever buried, the head is still in a museum.

There is no telling whether or not this is true, but it certainly could have happened. Hitler killed millions upon millions of Russians, civilians and soldiers (if there was a difference in WWII Russia). He betrayed Stalin and nearly crushed his power and his country. I wouldn't be surprised if this were true.

I seriously doubt it. I have never heard that and I have heard a lot of stories about the war. Do you know where or who you heard this from? It is a total new one on me. I do not know everything but I did study a lot of European history and lived there for many years.

His body was burned by the Germans. Supposedly the Russians did find his skull & had it on display. Where it is now I couldn't say.

sounds like bullshit to me, according to all published reports, hitler's body-along with that of his wife, eva braun, was taken outside the bunker where they committed suicide and burned. i suppose the only people who really know what happened to him are the ones who took him, and i think they're probbaly all dead by now.
