I am now being starved out of my job. Boss says since he hired more people, that he doesn't have any work for me. Yet, when I apply for other jobs, he gives me a bad reference. I can't take it anymore. He is usually drunk, runs down the regional supervisor, and I just can't take it anymore. By the way, since it is low pay, I can't get an attorney to help me with this situation. Please somebody advise me of my rights, or where I can turn to.

Since you don't mention your country or state/province, I would suggest you look in your telephone book for your local ministry of labour. This is a tough thing to prove, however, so make sure you have some supporting documentation which includes dates and things that have been said, a copy of your employment contract, statements from witnesses, any emails from your boss--anything that can help you.

You may have to hire an attorney to get a settlement or compensation for lost wages, but in Canada, the lawyer fees would be tax deductible. If you can't afford an attorney, try your local "legal aid" clinic.

purely tell her this is not any longer a possibility so which you are able to bypass simply by unexpected circumstances. you do no longer owe her something at this factor. particularly simply by fact this is an elective holiday. If she does ask why, tell her you are able to no longer discover the money for it right this moment simply by fact of an unpredicted cost. Your unpredicted cost is the registration value, to no longer point out food and inn. She would provide you an answer approximately no longer paying the registration value as she promised. If she says they'll pay the fee, determine you ask suitable to the food tab additionally.

I'd hop off of Yahoo! Answers and go complain to some one who can help you with this problem. There are organizations that can help you out with this type of thing.
