thank you guy's that is my daughters name, I was only wondering sence I had a person tell me her name was soo horrific

i like Aliya but I don't like Lynn...just my oppinion. I think Lynn is too plain to go with Aliya..it just doesn't "flow". Maybe something with 2 syllables would flow more easily with Aliya, and with the emphasis on the second syllable.

like Aliya but I'm not to intrested in Lynn it kind of sounds old try marie maybe you might like it.. But it's you baby anyways so have fun and good lock on finding a name :)

I like Lynn as a middle name (it is my middle name!)
I have never heard of the name Aliya, but it is feminine sounding.

and origin=Hebrew. To ascend
meaning for Lynn: origin=Old English. Waterfall; pool below a waterfall.
Just make sure the monogram initials of the baby don't spell anything bad. ALL, ALF,ALR,
