Another Idea is to have a bake sale/ lemonade stand. Me and my sisters baked all week, made poster signs and decided how much we should charge for each baking good. Any age is perfect for this job!
Another good job is to start a walking dogs for neighbours that have dogs. You can either put up posters around town, or hand out fliers to people you know that have dogs. I would charge 5 dollars per dog.
Another good job is to wash cars, or open a car wash business with friends for a few days, mow the lawn, shovel drive ways in the winter, and help people clean there house that might need help.
If are 14 years or older, you could also work at fast food restaurants, or grocery stores too.

Check your library for books like "Fast Cash for Kids" by Bonnie & Noel Drew. I was most impressed by the ideas presented in the book on how other teens and tweens have made successful businesses either selling products or providing services. There are alot of creative opportunities out there for creative young people like yourself. Maybe instead of babysitting, you can set up a babysitting service where you get paid commission on matching sitters with families or maybe hosting weekend story hours or puppet shows in which you make $3-5 per hour per kid with five or six kids per session? Maybe you can tutor younger kids in math or other subjects that you excel in? Maybe you can write a newsletter for young people by young people and explain things like setting up a MySpace page or favorite websites for young adults? Use your skills, hobbies and experiences to make money while helping others. There are many library books in the same section as "Fast Cash for Kids" that your Librarian can help you find. Also, an organization called Junior Achievement (see link below) can help you network with other industrious entrepreneural teens like yourself to learn what they're doing and that can help you with what you've got in mind.

Once you turn 13 I know you can work for McDonalds. Try asking your counselor at school, they'll be able to help you find some way to make money.
