Should I leave him alone as he seems to want? Should I go to his house (130 miles away)? Thank you.

He's sleeping about 21 hours a day and his speech is slurred, though he's not on any drugs. He refuses to consider anti-depressants because he considers his depression circumstantial.

when some1 is suicide never leave them alone. talk about how much they will be missed if they leave. talk about the good things about them. never leave them alone, comfort them, stay by there side. also take them to a therapist. somewhere but dont leave them alone. if u do, then they will kill them self. stay by there side. find out what is wrong with them and support them. give them alot of love and dont put them down.

wish u luck.

Looks like he doesn't want to be spoken to if he's not answering the phone. Going to his house seems like a bad idea. If you really believe his life is in danger call the police and let them know. They know how to handle that.

This is very hard to answer because it's very unclear what happened, who hurt him, what makes you say he's depressed and suicidal.

Get him some professional help. Your going to his house won't change the way he feels about his depression. He can't be reasoned with about medication the same way you'd reason with a healthy person. It's his depression talking when he says he doesn't need drugs, and it sound like he doesn't have the right information about it. I'd call the Department of Public Safety and ask them what to do.

He may not be depressed. He could have another medical problem. If you are that worried and think something could be wrong call the local police station. They can go by and check on your friend. If you really think he is suicidal, do an intervention and do it soon. Don't second guess yourself or give up on your friend. It is better to be wrong about this than regret helping if he does commit suicidee.
I lost a friend to suicid and there is not a day that goes by that I don't wish I paid more attention to the signs. Get him help no matter what it takes.

keep calling him and then leave message letting him know you're going to call the police if he doesn't answer.

then CALL THE POLICE RIGHT THE WAY.

you rather take the chance of making mistake then he sucide.

I did that to a friend who live in different state, I feel bad but I can not take chance that she will kill her self, well, she did told me she is going to sucidie and then she won't answer my phone after I call like 50 over time. so I had to do what is right.

call soon. you need to do what is right.

Call your local Police and express your concern to them and they will gladly go and check on your friend. Better be safe than sorry, I think you'll feel much better knowing that your friend is okay.

Call the police station in his area and voice your concerns. they might be able to do a drive by check on the house. If you really feel he is in trouble go straight to his home...

trust your gut on this one.

better to go and he is fine than not go and hes hurt himself....

I agree - call the police. They can have him evaluated and if he is depressed and a danger to himself, he can be hospitalized, even if he doesn't want to be.

There's not much you can do. Yea, go to his house... that might help... but probably not much... if someone wants to commit suicide... then they are going to do it... chances are though that this person is just in need of attention....
