check in closets and small places...one time my hamster escaped and my mom found him in her bathroom closet in the corner w/ a bunch of little things he found! lol and there were chew marks on the closet door....so look in closets and places like that
u can try putting out treats but it will prob. come out at night and take them when you are asleep cuz they're nocturnal!
just keep an eye out wherever you go...you might see it scurrying across the floor at night!
hey, maybe you can stay up late at night and sit somewhere quietly and watch to see if it comes out for food!
good luck! don't worry, you'll find him!
oh yea i think they like to go under couches and by heaters, too...hope i helped!♥

Put the cage on the floor with the door open and food inside. If you can, rig it so that when the hamster goes in and gets the food, the door will fall shut. Otherwise, just watch frequently. It will probably want to come home. Don't leave food or water anywhere except in the cage.
At night, when the hamster would normally be awake, turn off the radio and TV and make the house quiet. Sit in the room where you think the hamster is, and read or sit quietly and listen for the sound of the hamster moving around.
Sprinkle baby powder near the walls and doors of the rooms where it might be, so you can check for footprints.

My aunts hamster escapes all the time and this is how she always finds it. Place a couple of buckets or tubs around the house with food that the hamster likes in them. Make stares out of books or something so the hamster can crawl into the bucket. It will be able to get in but not crawl out. She always does this at night and in the morning there is a hamster in one of the buckets. I hope this helps!

Around what time has it escaped? And do you know it's fav. hiding spot? Trying looking behind your cupboards and stuffs. Those dark spaces and are suitable for your hamster to hide. Or you might want to put some hamsters feed around the corners, luring it to come out. The possibility of finding it is quite low since hamster has a small brain. They are unable to detect danger. (-.-lll)

Hope yours is not a mini hamster.

For me, my hamsters had escaped and i never found them. It's quite sad really. But if you really cannot find it, then....sorry for you...

Look for droppings You need to know what room it's in before you set a trap. Whenever our hamsters got out (they got out a lot) They were in the kitchen. We would get a big pot or box (not cardboard) that they cant climb out of then fill it with food they like. Next get something they can use as a ladder like a book or something so they can climb in the box but once they are in they cant get out. It worked for us but im not sure. Good Luck catching him.

The easiest way to find hamsters is too look for poo, they leave a trail wherever they go. Make sure to search the house, they like to hide in dark tiny places. Good luck!

i agree, check the little cuby holes, then check around and see if there is anything that it can crawl into like a heating duct or anything, they can fight into tiny tiny places so check everywhere, they can live for while without food and water though so that shouldn't be a problem, mine was lost for a week in the heating ducts once and lived! lol there is still hope, good luck!!!!

That was not a hamster... that was your dinner tonight. Looks like you will be going hungry if you cannot catch it.
