Spend approximately 2-3 years to become an Engineer, and apply with CN and CP, or BN.

If you want to know for sure - contact the companies in question.

Call the RR you want to work for and ask the HR department if they have a program they can send you through.

Also, IIRC, there is a school, I think in Kansas City, Mo, that teaches you what you need to know.

BTW, they are called engineers, not train drivers.
