That was the sickest movie I seen in forever. I only watched about half, it was way to gorey for me. What do you think?

Lame that's all I have to say about it. they could have done alot better on the plot. The gore wasn't really there either. It was too. I don't know how to put it but it just didn't satisfy my need for gore. I know this is sick but when you expect a gore movie you want gore. Perhaps I lost alot of interest because the plot sucked so much. It was like EURO TRIP only with gore IT wasnt' even scary at all. If you want to see a scary flick:
Ab-Normal Beauty. It's an asian film about a art students. WOnderful. The colors in this movie are that of a dario Argento film The plot as twisted as little girls undies in church. The gore is to die for literally.

I watched it till the end at the movies and loved it, they hadn't made any gorey movies in a while, so I was glad they made that. I don't like scary movies at all, but gorey is o.k. LOL

I agree it was pretty disgusting, but I think that's what audiences crave and what directors try to do. As said in Scream 2 :"More blood, more gore, without it you lose your target audience." There are some pretty serious scary movie lovers out there, and the gross out factor what's expected now. It causes audiences to become queazy with disgust and fright, which is what the point of the movie is intended to do.

I'm a hardened horror movie buff and I thought it was quite well done and had a great premise
I loved it , but it was pretty gory

the 1st half of Hostel was nothing but gross sex and boobs....after that ya it was gross but not the worst. The Saw movies are way grosser and gory than Hostel

I wouldn't really classify Hostel as a horror film, because it was not scary at all. It was a cheap graded bloody porn. My husband liked it because they were slicing up people, but to me it was moronic to say the least.

The first half of the movie was a porno..the second half was very gory...but had a good plot

my sis said the same thing! she walked out of the theatre!!! omg now i really wont see it. i'm such a scaredy cat it took me a WHOLE year to see Ring. yep. i would see bits n pieces and then change the channel. i'm that big of a woos.
