hello of course alot of us try to get things free its not that im cheap but what out on the web is the best free way to clean your computer like i mean a pc cleaner that realy works without reformating your computer

I honestly wouldn't trust anything for free to do anything like that. It's actually a good way to get spyware and things like that, even causing more problems than it may have right now.

I am running Windows XP and I use the Microsoft tools that are built in. Disk clean up and Defrag as necessary. I am using two programs offered free by AOL. They are:Active Security Monitor and Active Virus Shield. These work very well. Be sure you don't have two virus scanning programs on as they will cause problems. We can download too much free stuff that isn't needed. Since I have these programs, my computer is running as well as it did 5 years ago. Good luck.
