It is 17 unless you are in a DRH case (foster kid etc.). I live in GA and I left on my 17th birthday. But it is not as fun as you think. I am now a 26 year old mom of 4. I am in my 2nd marriage and I have no family in my life. I know as a teen having no one there sounds like a dream but when you do "grow up" you realize that life is not as easy as moving out just because you can. Not that your situation is a valid on,e I just pray that you have a good plan laid out for your future. Good luck and I hope you make the right decisions that best fits your situation.

At the age 15 kids have the right to choose where they want to live. So at age seventeen if the teen wants to leave then he or she can leave. As long as he or she has another place to go you can't say anything.

17 years old. While technically still a minor, and your parents can declare you a run-a-way at 17, law enforcement can choose to not enforce such a claim against a 17 yr old if that 17 yr old is demonstrating a legal independence.

I live in Georgia and I've heard 17 also. I would reconsider though if you're thinking about it.

17 but it's not easy without a good job and a place to live.

When they're old enough to be resourceful enough to look things up themselves. If you can't do that, you shouldn't be leaving home. Patch things up with Mom and Dad.
