From what I hear it's full of thugs and rude people. Is that true?

I lived there for a while ....... Mall St. Matthews and the Oxmoor Center are on the Waterson Expressway and they are like right beside each other, which is sweet (twice the shopping : ) ) There is a new mall off the Gene Snyder called The Summit. Which has some higher end stores and a great seafood place called Mitchell's Fish Market.

I am from NJ I don't know what it is about people constantly asking about this place and saying that stuff about louisville, KY.

For one thing, I was born there... so that's good.
But, really there are thugs and rude people everywhere you go. Just depends on where you hang out.
All of my relatives live there and love it. They are not thugs or rude!!

It isn't that great.... but Bernatello's isn't bad.... UofL is not a bad school and the Louisville Bats are okay...

so it's got something going for it
It was thugs that robbed his bike when he was a kid that made him turn to boxing , so you may have something there
