Just last week we got a new manager at work. I find myself talking about her quite a bit (more than anyone else), and at work (when she's around) I'm always smiley and giddy (I don't quite feel in controle of myself). When she noticed she asked why I was always laughing (not laughing, huge smile) at her I had no idea what to say, I just avoided it (at that moment I realized what I was doing. That's how I act around guys I have crushes on, only to a lesser degree). Then I aways try to work/get close to her.

At a guess:
You admire her. You feel an attraction/connection with her. It doesn't mean it is sexual, either.
I have friends I have felt that way about.
The giddy, out of control feeling could be part of your instinctive reaction to her. It could also be a little bit that you want to live up to her or not be a disappointment to her.

I have seen this happen often with employees who are trying to make a good impression on the 'new boss'. If she is older than you, you may find that she has qualities that you admire and you look up to her. It does not necessarily mean anything sexual. You can like her as a person and want to be around her without being sexually attracted to her.

you're saying this has got here about to you on different jobs. have you ever considered the probability that the problem might want to lie with you? I heard slightly suggestion a lengthy time period in the past. It makes perfect experience to me. "If one man or woman insults you -- say he calls you an *** -- ignore about him. If yet another human being calls you an ***, ignore about her, too. similar is going for the subsequent man or woman who calls you an ***. yet when everyone you meet calls you an ***, initiate braying; that is quite particular you're an ***!"

It sounds like she is someone you admire and would like to learn from and be more like her, like a mentor. That can be a good thing. You could learn a lot from her that will help you in your career.
