I am going to make an action movie, and I need to know how to make realistic gore. I know how to make the blood, I just need an agent for the gore.

Water, red food coloring (a lot) use baby powder to thicken
........Will turn skin red for a bit. and will be hard to clean up.

Use steak pieces of boneless chicken pieces of foam and latex.

Find an amateur special effects artist by advertising in a local paper. Chance are they will do the FX for free just to get their name started in the buisness. If they demand payment, then let 'em have a very small royalty percentage.

Raw hamburger + clear dishwashing soap + red food food coloring worked for me. A canteloupe in a wig filled with hamburger is good for head-crushing scenes.

light corn syrup and red food coloring.
or if youre shooting in black and white use chocolate syrup, you can thin it with water if you need it to really spurt out.
i've had pretty good luck with those and of course just buying fake blood (bottles and bottles right after halloween, it usually goes on sale then)

go to the store and get meat then put alot of red dye or fake blood in it to make it really runny. there you got meat chunks. might beable to use that for if someone gets shot in the head
