Depends almost more on your genetics than anything else.
What is your family history? Does heart disease run in your family?
Generally 25 year olds do not have heart attacks (unless they do a lot of illegal drugs ie cocaine/crack/crank/speed, or have some underlying congenital heart defect).
Probably the biggest risk factor for anyone is smoking, especially smoking heavily. Even then, 25 would be way young. Cholesterol and triglyceride levels would also tell a lot. Severe obesity would also factor in.
Stress can make people feel like they are going to have a heart attack, because literally one can "feel" stress...one's heart pounds, or races, one becomes short of breath, etc.--that's what stress can feel like, and people convince themselves it's their heart.
A complete physical complete with EKG and lipid profile (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) would probably tell you all you need to know with your risk factors.
The single best thing a person can do for their physical health is to stop smoking.
I know there are those who will disagree with me, but I would say if overwhelming stress is your chief complaint, and you don't smoke, aren't severely overweight, and have no family history, your chances of heart attack are very very small...
The best advice I could give you is to get some exercise...even if it is only 15 minutes a day....take a brisk walk, take the stairs as often as you can, get a dog and play with it, just get moving!
Good luck to you....25 is waaay too young to have developed stress at the level you are asking about....

Yes it can. Acute myocardial infarction (AMI or MI), commonly known as a heart attack, is a disease state that occurs when the blood supply to a part of the heart is interrupted. It is a medical emergency, and the leading cause of death for both men and women all over the world.
Stress also makes your blood pressure rise and that's not good.
If you have any of these symptoms go to the Dr.'s ASAP:
Classical symptoms of acute myocardial infarction include chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, palpitations, sweating, and anxiety or a feeling of impending doom. Patients frequently feel suddenly ill. Women often experience different symptoms than men. The most common symptoms of MI in women include shortness of breath, weakness, and fatigue.
Hope this helps

I've heard that stress is one of the known causes of a heart attack but there's more to it than that. If you're stressed out that much you really need to find ways in overcoming those things that stress you out.

I think overwhelming stress could possibly cause a heart attack. When my 2 sons died, I felt my heart was breaking. I took sedation. That helped. Our bodies to indeed react to stress. Try to get some medical assistance.

If partnered with a bad diet and lack of exercise, you bet. You could be the healthiest person you know, but with overwhelming stress you will probably develop stomach ulcers and maybe even (very good chance) have a stroke.
I've been where you're going. Take care of yourself.

Go see a doctor. Try and breathe deeply. Get a stress ball. Find something that relieves stress, like a sport or excercising.

It can. Change your diet while you are young and have your blood pressure checked.
Stress caused me to have a heart attack.
