If you are repeating classes and had plans for the summer, then yes. If you're taking courses to get a jump on next year, then it could be good. If the course is rigorous, then there is the possibility of burnout--going almost 2 years straight without a break. Although if you failed the course, you've already had a break during the year anyway.

It's not suppose to be fun! You're there for one of two reasons.
1. You messed around too much during the regular school year because you maybe had too much fun. You're not going to school to be entertained all the time.
2. You are struggling with certain skills and need more time with the instruction to learn them.

If the reason is the first then go to summer school and "buckle down" and get it over with.

If the reason is the second then go , you might even enjoy it more because it's more relaxed and the class is usually smaller. Also you'll usually only go half a day. In any case keep in mind your parents and teachers are giving you a second chance so your grade will come up and you will not have to repeat it for another full semester.

It sucks hardcore. I had to go last year for math. I was so pissed off because I already knew everything that they were reteaching. The best thing to do is PAY ATTENTION AND DO GOOD DURING THE REGULAR SCHOOL YEAR!! It took a whole month outta my summer vaca[tion].

No, It's short and the teacher doesn't want to be there either so it's more relaxed.
