If im due on 11/26 and conceived on 3/5 (according to ultrasound) and my LMP was 2/14 when did i ovulate? I think i must have ovulated very late. Would i have had to ovulated close to 3/5? this is so confusing and it shouldnt matter but i am just very curious of how i got pregnant so long after my period. Ive gone on every website that you plug in your dates and it tells you when you ovulated or conceived and stuff but nothing seems to make sense and match up. please only answer if you can explain i dont want to hear "dont worry about it your pregnant it shouldnt matter". thanks

Do you have a cycle that is longer than 28 days? Generally women who have a 28 day cycle ovulate 14 days after the first day of their period. If your cycle is normall 28 days that would put it right around Feb 28. So if your cycle is normally longer than 28 days, you can see how it would have been into March when you ovulated. Other scenario is that your body just naturally ovulates later than the normal average for women. Also, it could be that the baby has grown slightly slower than normal these first few weeks and you're measuring a bit off from actual date of conception. Either way, since its only a matter of a few days, its probably hard to pinpoint exactly.

I don't know if this helps but my LMP was on 2/12...I ovulated on 2/26-2/27...I could literally feel it..so that is possible you conceived 3/5.....so you probably ovulated just a few days later than me-which would match the difference in dates. Your ovulation was probably right at 14-15 days. February was a short month :) PS..Don't forget conception does not instantly occur. Hope this helps you make sense.

Yes, you would have had to ovulate close to 3/5--probably sometime between 3/2 and 3/8. Some women just ovulate later in their cycles. Congratulations!

Ovulation is normally 14 days after your period which takes it to approx 28 Feb :o)

I estimate your due date to be 21st November
Hope this helps and enjoy your pregnancy

I have a friend right now who is pregnant with twins and her ovaries ovulated at different times of the month. She did not know this until she began fertility to get pregnant and that was why it took her over 2 years to get pregnant.
