Here's a fun little mathmatical excersise to prove that vampires are a stupid concept:

OK, let's take the following assumptions:

#1: Vampires MUST eat human blood to survive.
#2: If you survive being bitten by a vampire, you turn into a vampire yourself.

Now, let's say back in 1700 AD there were 100 vampires on earth. Let's say they each average feeding on one human a MONTH that they turn into a vampire. That seems pretty conservative.

So, after month 1, there are now 200 vampires. After month 2, there are now 400 vampires. After month 3, there are now 800 vampires. After YEAR one, there are now 409,600 vampires. And that is after only one year!!

After TWO years, there are now 1,677,721,600 vampires on earth. After THREE years, there are now 13,743,895,347,200 vampires.

Anyway, vampires supposedly live forever, right? So, if they would theoretically overpopulate the earth after only THREE YEARS of feeding just once a month, then where are they?

And if you want to argue that they don't go around turning other people into vampires, then you still have to figure that if human blood is their main source of food that EACH vampire would still have to have hundreds of victims a year, in which case if there were ANY even insignificant population (we'll say there are 1,000 of them), then you are talking hundreds of thousands of attacks yearly without EVER getting caught, and it just doesn't happen.

It makes a good story, but there are no vampires. Live in the real world sometime!!

They exist, but not like the mythological thing exposed on movies. There are real live vampires, just look for information on Internet. A lot of people don't believe in them cause they are close minded and can't see that there is more of this world than what our eyes see.

I believe in Vampire bats, and people who have psychological 'issues'...

Well, from a psychological point of view there are people who THINK they are or want to BE vampires...

At most, there are people who have a need or desire to drink, or bathe in blood - like Countess Elizabeth Bathory and Vlad Tepes Dracula... these people can be described as Vampires, although they probably didn't turn into bats and wear cloaks... or have fangs...

And like Werewolves, there are also people who LOOK like vampires, but probably suffer a genetic disorder...

I believe they do exist, but not in the way you perceive them, as bloodsucking, white skinned immortal creatures. They exist in the form of those who rape women and children, those who deliberatelyj and insidiously take advantage of those weaker than they are, those who murder and those who prey upon our energies in a psychological way. Psychological vampires are weak individuals themselves, who have been, no doubt, zapped of their mental stamina by another psych-vampire, very much the way the bloodsucking ones of Anne Rice and Bram Stoker make fellow vampires of their victims. They exist, just not in the way novels and movies have led us to believe.
