I work for a publishing house and I can assure you that you should not write a book. Every day, I read books that are exceptionally bad and I curse the bastards who wrote them. If you're compelled to write, you will, but at the very least spare the world your insane scrawlings--write your book and put it in a drawer and forget about it.

If you truly cannot trust anyone enough to dictate your book to them, and let them publish it, I'd say you have two options:
1) Learn how to read and write; there are adult literacy classes you could take. You don't have to tell them why you want to be able to read and write; just pretend you want to get a better job and be able to read the newspaper.
2) Instead of writing, do a voice recording. You can have it put on audiotapes and CD. You could call it an audio-book. You can even distribute it through the internet. And you will be able to listen and make sure they didn't change anything.
It might still be worthwhile learning to read though, in case you ever want to sign a contract.
Good luck with your literary ambitions and your plan to set the world right.

1. Get over yourself, go to school, get a job, and try to change the system by becoming an intelligent, observant leader.
2. Don't do any of that and lead, at best, an amoral life that whimpers to an end after a long succession of disappointing failures.
3. Join the military and become an assassin.
4. Face up to the fact that you don't really have a "book" or a strong, stable vision that will inspire the masses to "fall under your feet" and find something else to do and become successful in.

Dictate the book into a tape recorder and pay someone $7 an hour to transcribe it. Voile! A book is born.

When did school become expensive?
If you have your high school education, go ahead and right a book.
And you don't sound as illiterate as the rest of them.
