There was a song that was either put out by Genesis or by Phil Collins himself about his relationship with his father. I think it might have been called "The Living Years". Can anyone confirm this and tell me who did it?

It was Mike Rutherford.
The song is The Living Years by Mike And The Mechanics.
It was written after his father died, and they had never been close as father & son.
It's a lovely song.

i believe it was written by mike rutherford of 'mike and the mechanics', it was about his relationship with his father who had passed away, mike was originally with genesis. the song was called 'the living years' a very poignant song!
