What is meant by the imagery of "urban disilusion" in the poetry of T.S. Elliot? Give an examlple.?

I don't know what Elliot meant, but my disillusionment is "going to the shows, the museums, the intelligent conversation". In fact, urban life is dirty, noisy, stinky and few actually enjoy the arts.
