Then, let it go. Not that you should stop wanting it but let it go, put it in God's hands, if you believe in God, or the Universe. When you ask for something have you tried it this way???

Works every time. I don't need to be convinced or totally convinced, preference is enough. The asking part is fairly easy when one realizes that focus on what one does not want also attracts more of that. A fair bit of the work has to do with contradictory thoughts, feelings, emotions, or beliefs. ie. you cannot attract abundance if you believe that money is evil or that rich people are people who take advantage of others, etc. Also if you are afraid that someone is out to steal your money or belongings or if you are stingy, all these types of negative thoughts will act as resistance and pinch off the flow of the abundance hose.

An interesting twist on religion.

Most religions frown on greed. Wanting anything (from a god or the universe) is what Buddhist call "tanha" or craving.

The desire for food -- gluttony.
The wanting for money -- greedy.
And so on.

Confidence is always beneficial to the ego, except when it is deflated. Confidence should be pursued passively, and thus: visualize, ask, then pursue with cautious patience, or, if you believe it will come, wait. It is your choice to make.

You are saying have absolute faith. But if I don't doubt, then how can I have faith? If I don't consider and accept the possibility, no matter how minute, that what I want will *not* come to me, then on what basis can I truly believe it will?
