Then release it where you found it. Don't be a jack@ss and let it starve to death.

yup, you need to let it go. Frogs aren't the kind of animal that can go 3 days without food. Make sure you let it go exactly where you found it, in his 'territory'. If you let him go just anywhere, there might be problems (he won't know where to get food, shelter, and the other frogs might have already have a claim on that area).

This is why there are so many people against wild caught animals as pets. They just aren't built for a life of domestication. In most states, it's illegal to keep local wildlife as pets anyway (or, for example, if you have a corn snake it must be albino). I suggest doing some research on a kind of frog you want (believe me, they are all very diferent in personality and care requirememts). Find a nice captive breed one from a pet store or a breeder, then give it a cool name and you're good.

It's stressed and probably won't eat before it starves to death. Let it go where you found it and go buy a frog or toad that was captive bred if you want one as a pet.

Simple, wild animals are not ment to be pets. Keeping him will ensure his death. Please bring him back to where you found him and go to your local petstore and spend the $5-$15 on a pet toad, like a fire bellied toad they make great pets!!!

You should probably let it go, toads usually hunt for their food at night. (I think so)
