Well like a lot of families out there the most popular girl name in my family is Grace. For the guys, it's Kenneth. I like Grace but I do not think I will use if I have a girl one day since it is so common and my husband's middle name is Kenneth and he forbids me to use it. I do like the idea of people passing on family names though. :)

My family being the unique family we are all have different names. A few of us have the same middle name, but spelled different. Lynn or Lynne or Lyn- is one common middle name in my family. Maree or Marie is another. Chris is another one. Edward is the most common boys middle name in my family. Unique is the way to go, I don't like the same name in one family unless it is a middle name. First name being the same is kind of confusing.

For years it was Samuel (one right after another), but the last name to really be repeated is David. The name Sloan (a maiden name) is currently being used as a middle name, too so I guess that is the next big thing. As for girl names, we don't have any... which I never thought of until now. Hmm.

There are 7 Margarets in my family (not including me), 4 of us with the middle name Frances, there are 3 whose first name is Frances, and there are 9 Charles', oh and there are also 3 Georges' and 1 Georgeanne!!!

K names..
My mum is Kerry, I am Katie, My brother is Kenny and he married a Kylie, and she has a niece named Kelly. I have a cousin Kellie, and another cousin Kirsty.
We have two Emmas
One of them has a brother named Aaron, and she also married an Aaron herself. Her husband Aaron has a brother who married an Emily.
There are 2 Michaels, although one is spelt Mical. My cousin Kellie and I both have Maree as middle names.
Then there are just the siblings with names starting with the same letter .. Terri and Tim
Kenny and Katie
The rest are just normal but reasonably uncommon names.
