it seems that the sillier the question the more answers you get?thats ok though i like to have a bit of fun to but getting sensible answers to sensible questions seems extremeley difficult.

because many people answering have limited vocabularies and very limited life experiences. So the silly ones are the easiest to answer I guess.

What a beautiful question. I myself must confess that I do like to answer some of the more ridiculous questions I come across however I do try to answer them as funny as humanly possible.
I guess it is hard to get answers to sensible questions on here sometimes because it is a big cover up for the people that do come on here, ( the younger generation) and do not know any better. Hence, they come up with something so corny and atrocious that in the end it doesn't make sense anyways..

well, generally speaking, a sensible question does not have much of an answer...
Q: How many cups of water should I put in Campbell's vegetable stew?
(that is a sensible question but who really cares?)
It's the trivial questions that people can be more illustrative of who they are as people... and that is all anyone is really doing on the internet anyway...
Is that a sensible answer?

i agree---it seems no matter how thought provoking i try to make my questions i look and see a question like "do you like cheese?" has gotten 40 more answers than any of my questions combined....a sad state of affairs and a sign the world may be headed in the same direction as Montag's from Fahrenheit 451

I think people just like to post answers to get their point level up. Whether they know something about the subject or not.
At least that's what the voices in my head say.

happened to me too. i initially posted sensible questions when i started with yahoo answers but regressed to stupid ones when i became addicted to it.
