I'm doing a debate for school, and this is the position I'm forced to take.
Therefore, if you don't agree, please don't post.

Can you give me arguments as to why this is true?

The answer is contingent on the word 'just'. If we assume revolt was avoidable in history, then we should say how. If we assume revolt was unavoidable, then we should say why. If 'just' is to be synonym for the word 'good', then the answer is no. If the synonym for the word 'just' is the word 'necessary', then the answer is yes for nature necessitates everything. At the very least, we should learn from history for we are not born owning our self but must earn our self when our society values differently. How we earn our self differs according to the notions and ideas in a societies people. When new ideas for that come into being, then there is struggle as the old ideas are Judged as are the new. When a new notion for self comes into being, then there is struggle as the old notion is Judged and the new is Judged in others.

It is bad to be oppressed by a minority, but it is worse to be oppressed by a majority. For there is a reserve of latent power in the masses which, if it is called into play, the minority can seldom resist. But from the absolute will of an entire people there is no appeal, no redemption, no refuge but treason.
