As a Canadian, no.

As a History buff...no. American History is irrelevant to me...see above.

As a Computer buff, I can say, try Google, on-line maps, history texts, etc.

If you're going to go Google, try typing in your questions as you wrote them.

Where the distance between are concerned, using Google Maps, MSN Maps, or Yahoo Maps, you can find out in about half a second, centre to centre.

I typically advocate doing your homework yourself and not posting it on a forum hoping someone else with answer it.

That said, try an encyclopedia. You can find some encyclopedias online, but I also recommend visiting the nearest library to look for more specific encyclopedias pertaining to American history and/or military history.

Or, just try Wikipedia. For the most part, it is accurate. You just need to exercise some discretion when using it for research.
