You can't always know. That's the bottom line.

I have wondered the same thing lots of times. I can only say the one person I saw on cam, and yes fully clothed. "Nothing bad... " That was the only one I knew for sure I was talking to the same person I thought it to be.
As far as anything else. I can say anyone I have shown my pic to saw the REAL ME! No doubt about that. Unlike some people, I have only shown a hand full my picture and never lied in doing so. My word...
I have seen some girls try to pull off posting pictures from catalogs. I knew they were fake because I have lots of women's clothing catalogs. Duh ladies, are you for real. Show the real you to who ever is at the other end people or not at all.
I do how ever say showing your picture should be done only with those you have come to trust. But if you are going to form any kind of friendship how can you if you have no face to attach it to?
Honesty should always win out... Best to you in doing so...

Funny, I'm in the middle of a book and it's about this girl who met this guy over the Internet. He scanned a pic of who was suppose to be him and sent it via email. They had this on line relationship and one day she decided to sneak and take a plane to visit him. When she got there to her surprise the picture that was sent to her was that of a boy who was now a grown, very disturbed man. He is holding her captive in his home. Good book. People should always be very careful of dealing with people on-line. You never really know.

Here's a hint. If the pics look like they're from a fashion model's portfolio, and they're looking for dates on the internet, it's probably a fake pic ;) I mean get real. Isn't this what webcam's are for? Though the subservient chicken shows that can be faked too.

There is no way to ensure the person and the photo are one and the same.
I always assume they will not look like any photo shown.

Sometimes people put pictures of celebrities up there too. Or their cat (I'm pretty sure their cat is not answering questions). I don't think you can tell.

Is "she" has a full chest of curly hair, there is a good chance that it is not the girl you thought you met on the internet.
