I have been having lower back pain, kind off toward the side, not real far to the side though. And then I have irregular periods. This has been going on for quite some time. Could somthing be wrong. I have a doctors appointment in early May but just wanted to get a little insight before I go get check up. Thanks

Yes something could be wrong such as a hormone imbalance. I found out from my gynecologist when I saw her today that women who have thyroid problems will often have the symptom of irregular bleeding so please ask as part of the check for hormones to be tested for thyroid to make sure the thyroid is working ok.

I'll start off with my usual. Are you on medication? Because that can screw up your menstrual cycle. As far as the lower back pains go, its completely normal. I know so many people who get pains all over when it reaches that time. Although I have a good grasp on medicine, I am not a doctor, so you should not cancel that appointment.

Oh this is really funny I had the same problem a few weeks ago, It may be just a severe bladder infection. Of course are you throwing up getting high fevers? If so... you need to see your doctor he/she might recommend Motrin or another medicine that I just can't remember right now?
Any ways, also you should drink lots of cranberry juice and water. Also, try to stay away from those greasy foods, even pizza. Good Luck!

If your levels are too low you may not be ovulating. I would go back and ask your doctor about PCOS. It can cause pain in the abdomen due to cysts. My fiance and i had been trying for a year and no luck, and i had the same abdominal pains, My GP referred me to a gyno and she did lots of tests, and found out that i have PCOS. So i would get checked out just to be sure. Good Luck
