She claims what was because of medication? Taking a pregnancy test? No woman is that stupid every woman knows that you can only get pregnant by having sexual contact or invetro and since tricare doesn't pay for invetro then she had no reason to take a pregnancy test ....unless she has been with someone. If she missed her period because of medication that is normal but to think your pregnant when you haven't had sex is not normal...am I being clear here.
I am a military wife and I have seen how other wives will hook up as soon as their man is on a plane, I am sure you have heard the stories as well.
Be safe, take care and God bless you

There are some medications that can cause a false positive pregnancy test. Also - if a home pregnancy test is not read within the given time limit (usually 10 minutes), then it is possible for a (false) positive line to show up later.

That said - if she took a home pregnancy test, she must have had some reason to think she needed to take it. How long have you been home? If you've been home for 10 days or longer, it is entirely possible that she thought she was pregnant by you. Many home pregnancy tests can give accurate positive results 10 days after ovulation.

However, if you've only been home a very short time (less than a week), there is very little chance that any pregnancy test would come up positive. If she took a test, then she must have thought she might be; and if you haven't been home long enough for her to get pregnant and have a positive pregnancy test - then something is definitely wrong.

If it's a used test, then I think it's pretty obvious what that means. There might be on outside chance that a friend came over or something, but you really need to ask her about it.

Edit to add:

If you are deployed to the middle east, and I am assuming that she is not, how did you find the pregnancy test?

Yeah, you're going to have to ask her.

I think someone else already said this....but a few years ago I had a friend who had a scare, and she didn't want to take a test alone, so she came to my house and took it.

Don't jump to conclusions, it COULD be a friend....or maybe not. Don't be too confident about anything. But don't go into the conversation blaming her. Just ask her about it.....that's pretty much all you can do.

Good luck!!!

And why haven't you been having sex for 6 months? Are there other relationship problems? Do you have reason to believe she's cheating?

Well it means she could be CHEATING on you. Why else would she have a pregnancy test in the trash. You should talk to her and see whats up look for signs of lying, If she has been cheating on you and fessing up to then you should DIVORCE her or if you can find it in your heart to forgive her then thats fine too. Usually I tell couples to stay together but in this case if there is cheating DIVORCE is definetely an option. OR maybe she had a friend over and a her friend took the pregnancy test. ALL you can do is TALK TO HER.

I am going to be very honest with you and this is not to hurt you.

There are no medications that would make you pregnant or make you think you are pregnant. NONE. There is IVF and fertlity treatments, but she wouldn't be doing this unless YOU were in town. Something is wrong here... because there is just no medication that would do this.

You need to confront her, eye to eye. Tell her you know that know medication could not do that because you spoke with a nurse.

You deserve answers.

Well obviously she was having sex with someone or she wouldn't have been taking that pregnancy test. That's just wrong of her. Leave her. I'm sorry you had to come home to this instead of a supporting, faithful partner.

you should be worried... very worried... Yes, I have heard of some drugs especially hormone tablets that gives false pregnancy readings. But, frankly,if she hadn't do something behind your back that she should be guilty of, she wouldn't need to worry about being pregnant at all and even if she misses her menses, she wouldn't even go buy a pregnancy test kit to suspect herself of being pregnant.
how to be pregnant without sperm? be more logical...
so what does the test say? negative?

I would confront her without being accusatory with her. It could of been from a girl friend but..........No sex in 6 months and she's not giving it to you? She's got to be getting it some where.
