it looks like a burn but it isn't...It isn't a scratch because it is under the skin and I know what a scratch looks like...I am very clue less...This is what it looks like..What do you think

Did it start at one point and start moving upward? If so, get him to a doctor ASAP! I can't remember the technical term for this (staph infection?), but my mother had one as a child and it nearly killed her. It was an infection that had started from a very small scratch (one that hadn't even been noticed) and was going up to her heart.

Was his leg against something hard or so? I know if I have my arm rest on the edge of the table i get a red line, my son is the same. try placing your arm along the edge of a table for a while and see...otherwise sorry I have no idea.

Oh sorry I would say since it has been there for a few days I would definately get a doctor to look at it, even if it might be nothing. Better safe than sorry. Good Luck!

My son had a mark on his leg that looks like that--it was from his sock. The band on his sock was too tight and left a mark.
My daughter--my first child--used to get marks like that from her leg resting aganst the edge of her stroller. She used to lift her legs up and rest them on the tray.
If that mark has stayed in the same place for the whole time it's been there, and hasn't gotten bigger or redder, don't worry too much, please.

take him to the ER asap!! My brother had the same thing and it was from a cat scratch. If it goes to his heart it will kill him

GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY!my mom is a nurse and she had a case like that. it was a rare disease. the patient DIED!!!!!
