Just because you're descended from royalty doesn't automatically entitle you to be called a princess or whatever. For example, I'm a direct descendent of Robert I of Scotland (albeit about 20 generations back), got the papers to prove it and everything, but since his line is extinct as a royal house there's no way anyone in my family is gonna get a title. And there are plenty of the modern royal family who don't have titles... Zara Philips, I believe, doesn't have a title. Anyway, my point is that royal blood doesn't necessarily equal title. What is your relation to royalty anyway, out of interest?

If you have really proof of it? I am not certain that you can still do such things. if you really have enough of financial assests , you probably will need to go to a courthouse, and file the proper papers so that you can change things like Adding a title to your name, than applying for a new social security card or keep the old one and just replace the name on it. Otherwise, I would ask an attorney who is of better knowledge then Y C answerers.

...in this case, you cannot because the line is no longer recognised by any ruling house.
You can, however, purchace Titles and Land from the Crown of Britain, A Lordship title can swing you around 50,000 pounds stirling, so save your pennies.
No, you cannot pass it on after you die.
while I am here, May as well blow my own horn: I am of Clan Erskine of Mar *Matrilineal decent direct line * whose home turf runs over Stirling field, in whose care still rests Alloa and Stirling Castle, and have the distinction of having in middle boughs of the tree, direct decent lines of blood to and through the Bruces. To top that off, a later decendant from the Bender / Bruces
gave reason for Frances Scott Key to write about rockets red glare and bombs bursting in air...My fifth great uncle, Joshua Barney. Whenever I go see the Star spangeld banner in D.C, I feel like it belongs to me. so cool.

First, A king doesnt permit himself to die without leaving a
" WILL" to his nearest ascendant, If somebody will come to an open Hey I am the Kings descendant without recorded will, no matter the descendant shout till die, He cannot inherit, unless the descendant will go mobbery if knowned ends up persecuted. Its common happening in the history of England and Denmark.

Very interesting answers. My mother has traced her maternal line back and we found Kings and Royalty as well. In our family tree is King Henry I, II and III, also King John (signer of the Magna Carta in 1215) and also as far back as William The Conqueror.
One thing about genealogy; you have to take the good with the bad. We also have Aaron Burr in our family history!

Do like any Royal w. Moxie in the Guts did before.Raise your standard and claim the Crown as yours.Chop heads,if it is needed.God wants it,Land wants it,Duty obliges You.
The rest will recognize the signs of your Call, and the Nobility in your Blood, with such an Ulysses' gesture,to Rally around your rightful Line return. But beware of Macbeths.
