Well what I would do is find a NEW job first and then just tell her that you have found work that is more suitable for you and you appreciate the job but you quit!! Another idea is to just tell her that your schoolwork is harder this year then you thought it would be and your parents want you to focus more time on that and are making you quit! (Blaming parents is ALWAYS good b/c then YOU dont look bad!! LOL)

The number one thing that you want to keep in mind is that you DONT want to "burn bridges" behind you b/c when you apply for a new job you are probably going to want to put them down as a referance and you cant do that if you have made them mad!! Also give at least a two week notice so that you arent putting them in a bind!! You can stick it out for at least two more weeks, right!?

Like I said, just dont burn bridges and come up with a believable excuse as to why you can no longer work there (like grades)...

GOOD LUCK!!

If you do not need the money that badly and are just trying to earn some extra cash to spend, quit. Being stuck in and going to a job you hate is exhausting and not good for your mental health. Just politely tell your boss that you are quitting and give them 2 weeks notice. As a 26 year old who has been stuck in many jobs he has hated with people I didnt like, believe me that you should quit. Enjoy being young and 17 and try to find another job somewhere else.

well if you dont need the money its better to give your boss a 2 week notice so they will give you a good reference in the future.but if you dont care about that cause you dont really have to work just tell her matter of factly " mrs.jones ( or WHOever she is) you work me too hard,i hate it here ,and i really dont need the money.so i quit! good bye" thats it plain and simple let her know where to send your last paycheck or when you can pick it up.good luck.

Ask for a $10 an hour raise in pay. If they don't give it to you, then give your two weeks notice.

Don't burn any bridges, give two weeks verbal notice to your supervisor so they can have time to find a replacement.
