Bleeding after LEEP?

I had a LEEP procedure done 6 days ago. Since then I have had the expected brownish discharge. I haven't used tampons or had intercourse and have refrained from any strenuous activity since then. I just started having some bleeding, bright red, not old blood. Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal. And, you will remain bleeding for awhile longer. I definently would not panic. And, ask your doctor any remaining questions at your follow up appointment.

Yes, some bleeding after a LEEP is normal but if you get a lot of pain with this bleeding over the next few days or so I would recommend calling the dr back to let them know what is going on.
