at what age exactly can you go and get your drivers license in chicago...can you go at age 16 or do you have to wait until you are 18

The city of Chicago doesn't give out driver's licenses, the state of Illinois controls that. And yes, the age is 16.

You can get your license at 16/17 if you have passed a driver's education class; otherwise, age 18.

It is 16. But they are trying to change it to 18.

I can't say for sure, but I think thta's it's the same for almost everywhere, but I know (because my mom used to live there) that Idaho is 14, I'm really not sure.
