Obviously, Bush's and Cheney's approval rating is pathetic. The funny part is that Bush's and Cheney's approval rating is 28% and 25%, but they are both higher than the Democratic Senate Majority leader Reid, who lands at a whopping 22%. Queen Pelosi is really tearing it up with a approval rating of 30%. This queen the liberals are praising are within the margin or error, so theoretically she could have a lower rating than Bush. Obviously, the same could be said about Reid being within the margin of Cheney. However, best case scenario for liberals is that they are viewed in the same rank as the Bush administration, which they despise. By the way Condi's, rating is 45%, which is higher than Queen Pelosi's as well. Let the spinning begin libs.

Information Police - Way to avoid the question. The true definition of spin.

Keep spinning Libs. You are doing great. Keep avoiding the question and bashing Bush. With these ratings, bashing Bush is the same as bashing your party. I love it.

Something tells me that they may be very quiet on this. lol What most of them fail to grasp was that the last election was not a ringing endorsement for the left. It was a message to the Republicans to grow a spine and act like conservatives. Quit spending like drunken sailors and get back to conservative values. Look at the Democrats that won, they were the so called "Blue Dog" Democrats. Those conservative voices have been silenced by the likes of Reid and Pelosi. I see by the responses that they don't get it and can only try to bash Bush. Typical. Come on whack jobs, give me some thumbs down. lol And please keep telling us how dumb Bush is. It really cracks me up because it means that you must be even dumber because he beat you not once but twice. Oh I know the elections were rigged and stolen, tell me libs, why did we not just keep doing it?

The polls that count were held last November. After November 2008, Reid and Pelosi will be in the same positions with an even bigger majority. Bush and Cheney will be unemployed and there will be a Democrat in the Whitehouse. Not spin but fact.

Your spinning a bit yourself as you chose to ignore the negative ratings and didn't mention that the lowest negative rating is for republicans in congress at 74% negative with congress in total at 68% negative. and Coni at 50% negative versus 58% negative for Pelosi. Reids low positive are probably due to his recent statements. Also the margin of error works both ways but you only choose to point out how it might work to lower Pelosi when it could just as well do the opposite.

The overall picture is that the leadership on both sides doen't appear to doing so hot with the people.

And let's see how Condi is doing next month after the public learns more about her refusal to testify before congress and more dirt comes out of the investigations.

Here's another poll - http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/polls/postpoll_041607.html

Nancy is at greater than 50% popularity and Reid is at 46, greater than Trent Lott's. Notice that this poll has more choices for people to answer for each question, and so is more nuanced.

Your poll reflects, I assume, that Americans are disgusted because they hadn't ended the war yet.

Since 67% of Americans think the country is on the wrong track, according to the data you posted, this isn't good news for Bush. But you already knew that.

What is your point? That Bush isn't doing much worse than people you have always despised and derided? Okay.

spin this, Bush lost the war in Iraq, his invasion was a fiasco and his occupation is in chaos, as predicted by Democrats. It has been nearly 4 years since the presidents "Mission Accomplished" speech on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln, his secondary missions have not been accomplished, nor will they be, because the Civil War that has erupted in Iraq needs diplomacy, not a war of words that continues to be perpetuated by the Bush administration and the GOP.

Well, this shows that an average of 30% likes Republicans and hates Democrats. And another 30% likes Democrats and hates Republicans. So this leaves 40% that don't like either side very much.

When you think about it, those numbers are a natural result of both parties apealing to thier respective 'base' and alienating the moderates. If the most pinko 20 or so of the nation aproves of the Dems, and the most fascist 20 or so aproves of the reps, then something like 60% - the relatively sane, 'moderate' majority - disaproves of /both/ and would, presumably, really like a third alternative.

Liberal here raising my hand to answer!!! Pick me please!!!

Couldn't help but notice you conveniently left out the most important statistic of all from the source you quoted: "Just one in five (22%) of adults think Republicans are doing a good job while three-quarters (74%) look at their job performance negatively."

One in five believe you guys are doing a good job??????
Not even Limbaugh or Hannity can spin that one.
By the way, I'm not even big on polls but since you brought it up there it is.
1 out of 5!!! Good luck in the next election!

Condi's rating is higher because she has kept her head down as the sh&t has been flying around during Bush's fiascos.

But you said it - Bush and Cheney's approval ratings are pathetic. No need to compare it to any member of congress. Unless you want to drag up Newt's approval ratings a decade ago.

Hmm..maybe this just shows the American people are fed up with the partisan horsesh!t people like you spew constantly. We the People are sick and farking tired of the rhetoric and spin "both" sides are putting out; we want TRUE REPRESENTATION.

There's no functional difference between the "libs" and the "cons" in power, they still back government interventionism and completely unConstitutional measures...
