Maybe he feels that if you want toys, then he is not satisfying you. Talk to him and let him know that that is not the case, you just want to do different things. But if he is still against it, then drop the toy idea and try to do other things together like role playing or something else along those lines. Something that you BOTH are comfortable doing. The point is that you both need to be comfortable in whatever it is that you chose to do. You would feel terrible if he was insistent on you doing something sexual that you were just not comfortable with. Wouldn't you? OK then, it works both ways. Good luck

Hey some women have problems with 'toys" too! It could be the guy feels if you need toys: you feel he's not man enough. People float their boats different ways, and are scared of some thing NEW!

some of us aren't worried we enjoy playing with you and your toys but i think it might have something to with the same thing that causes women to freak out when they catch their husbands looking at porn"well if you need something like this then i must not be enough"and i can tell this if your partner isn't comfortable with it or not open to it then nothing anyone says here will help you any.

Absolutely not. It's perfectly fine.
However...
There are men in this world that are totally threatened by women's sex toys (vibrators, dildos, etc.), feeling that a woman (their wife, gf) should receive pleasure only from THEM. That is just pathetic. They have some serious self-image/penis issues to deal with.
But, there are also women who believe that their partner's arousal and satisfaction should come exclusively from their vagina/mouth/hand. That is equally sad.
A healthy sexual relationship is neither threatened nor offended by "toys."

They are insecure about the whole thing due to the fact that you might like the toy more than you like their "toy". Or they might have hidden fantasies that they don't want anyone to know about.

No I don't. Men don't want to be worse than the toy.

A man might feel threatened by a wife who seeks pleasure that he doesn't have control over. He may feel that she thinks that he is not adequate. He needs some ego reassurance and reinforcement. Personally I think that its great fun to help and watch.
