After menopause... but that doesn't sound like an option for you.

The best time to not get pregnant is when you're certain you're not ovulating... trouble is, that's a hard thing of which to be certain and "ovulation predictor" tests are pricey.

There are people who have unprotected sex according to when the woman should be "safe" in her cycle. This is called the rhythmn method (google Rhythm+Method for more info.)

Other folks practice "withdrawal" where the man will withdraw before ejaculation... very risky because he emits semen even before ejaculation and it only takes one good swimmer to fertilze an egg.

There's an old joke that makes a good point. It goes like this:
"What do you call people who practice the rhythm method/withdrawal?"
"Parents."

The fellow who suggested birth control is right. If you don't want to get pregnant that's your best bet.

Usually the rule is the up to the 3rd day after your period has started is safe or if you are doing cervical fluid check on every dry day, but that can backfire if God's plans are bigger than yours. Honestly, every time you have sex you are taking a chance of getting pregnant no matter what method of birth control you use. If you have ovaries and a uterus and the man has sperm if they can find a way they will.

Never at all, if you want to get right down to it. Unfortunately, there is no 100% safe time where you are guarunteed not to get pregnant. You could ovulate at a different time, or sperm could still be living inside you, and get pregnant, even when you don't think you will. Sperm lives up to 5 days I believe inside you. Your best bet is to use some form of birth control (consistently) to reduce your chances.

There isn't. As long as a women ovulates there is no safe time to have sex and not get pregnant. The only fool proof way is abstinence. Other than that, try different methods of contraception.

meditests.com is the best website for a saliva tester. It will tell you that you are ovulating or not ovulating. We use this to get or prevent pregnancy. It is cheap and reusable for 1 yr. Good luck
