1. get broadband internet at least 512kb (you will need a router also)
2. get xbox
3. get xbox live starter kit with original xbox headset. (if you buy the new one it wont fit the old xbox.
4. follow the instructions
5. GAME ON!

Go to the store and buy a prepaid 12 month (or three month) xbox live card. Take it home and enter the 25 digit code on your system to have 1 year's access to Xbox Live.
