Any book for which the intellectual property rights have expired can be published in full on the net. Wikipedia (wikisource to be exact) have a few. I'd imagine there are a few others out there too. Any recent book, though, is unlikely to be present in full on the net, because of international intellectual property law.

Why would you want to? There's something very pleasurable in holding a book and turning the pages, it's much more comfortable than staring at a computer screen!
I doubt if you'll find anything in full on the net that's still in copyright

I don't know about novels, but I work at a library and you can read some non fiction books online (e.g I.T books) if you are a member. This is free and they put the whole book up. It might be worth asking in your local library or finding their website.

It's much more enjoyable to read a book with it in your hand, don't you think? I'm not quite sure that any websites give you the entire book to read; there are some that give you a few chapters, though.

Go on Amazon.com and serach for a book. If you have a membership to the site, (sign up) then you can look through a whole book, I think.
