The blue color fades even though i took out the carbon. Does this mean I need to add more of the formula??

No, it's normal for the blue color to fade. Even though it's labeled to cure the ich quickly, I would strongly suggest you treat the tank for at least 14 days. it really does tank that long to clear the problem sometimes and better safe than sorry when it comes back later.

You do not need to add more of the formula. It is normal for the blue color to fade after awhile. If you dosed as recommended on the label, then you don't have to worry about redosing it.

I don't know if you researched about aquarium medications, but when you are treating for fishes you should use a quarantine tank. Especially for quick cure because the blue dye of the medicine would stain the silicone in your tank blue (and also air tubings as well).

if you added the required amt for the gallons of water you have..you should not put anymore in. How are your fish ? you will need to do a partial water change and get your charcoal filter happening soon....You should wash any plants or ornaments or rocks if you have any in your tank too

The blue is sopposed to fade it will never stay blue all day.

I would say no if you followed the instructions correctly, adding more could make things worse

jut follow the directions on the bottle, you'll get through it. I've had worse.

ie: finrot on angles and gouramies
