Since when does Pelosi need the facts from someone who knows them first hand?
Her mind was made up about the war before she took her new post. She vowed that the new Democratic mandate was to end the war. That's why she thinks she's in office. That's what she's going to try to do, even if America is clearly winning.

She is afraid that she may have to face some real hard facts that would interfere with her anti-war campaign. Although I believe she is unwilling to hear the "other side" of the issue, I can't fault her too much. That's a politician trait that actually is bipartisan.

And what is your point? You conservative Republicans slay me. Let me get this straight. You conservatives say you support the troops but send them to Iraq without proper equipment and trainning and when they do go and come back some of them don't even get the alloted time home before they are sent back again. If some of these troops are wounded they do not receive proper care when recouperating back in he US. Yet you say you support the troops. Yep, typical conservative yellow-bellied, chicken hawks.

i agree with you totally, it makes no sense. read the ny post editorial on yahoo about reid and/or my question. they postiviely get it right and then some. this pair can easily lead the us down a road of destruction. lets hope the electorate wakes up before then.
