As long as it's quiet, it's fine with me.

"It's kinda hard to get out of this life alive!" Surprisingly, many people don't mind living around, working in, and visiting graveyards. They are drawn to them by the peacefulness, the history, as well as the artwork on the monuments. Paranormal researchers love recording in graveyards, hoping to catch evp's and photos of something paranormal. And writers love to sit in graveyards and write down notations...it gives them inspiration for their next novel!
Just don't spend too much time there; life is best served among the living! :)

I don't spend a lot of time in graveyards, but I enjoy it when I do. Besides tending to the grave I am visiting, I like to go around and see the other gravestones, the names and dates, the different languages; I do find them interesting. Also they often have cool trees. I have seen food left on some graves instead of flowers.

I completely agree. I once spent a full day in a graveyard. I constantly think about death. Hanging out at a graveyard is like a little history lesson and you can learn about somebody's life by learning how long they lived, the condition of their grave, how many flowers are at their grave, etc.

I like to go through OLD graveyards. The headstones are marvelous and had a lot to say. I'll always remember one that contained a young mother and two children who all died of diphtheria. Thank goodness we are not likely to see anything like that in a newer cemetery. But they are a record of history. hey are all in a peaceful setting and very relaxing.

I used to live near a cemetary and we would ride our bikes through and roller skate. It was a beautiful place with duck ponds and everything. It is very peaceful during the day. Plus its interesting to read the tombstones and what people had to say about their loved ones.

I, too, have a curious fascination with death. Yet I wouldn't call it "fun."
One evening when I was about 15 I took a walk. It got dark more quickly than I had expected. I found myself about a mile from my house, by the local cemetery, in the dark. Curious little me decided to roam around in there. It was very morbid. I think I did it because it put me in a state of arousal. Sometimes people are attracted to their fears.

I do..I have all ways been kind of dark In high school I won many bets that I wouldn't spend the night in the graveyard
or this abandoned crypt. I love the quiet and lack of light.
