I know there's another way besides taking the derivative over and over, something with 1/cos(2x)..

james, please try to take the d/dx of sec(2x) 5 times, then tell me it's not so bad.

Well, if you know the series for cos(2x), just do long division. You will get the series for sec(2x). You won't get the general term though.

Taking the derivative over and over really is not as bad as it seems because eventually you will see that there is a pattern.

Can you do someting with e^ix = cos(x) + isin(x)?
