fear of the dark (iron maiden comes in mind).fear:fright,terror,horror,alarm,panic,agitation,trepidation,dread,consternation,dismay,distress,anxiety,worry,angst,unease,apprehension,nervousness,foreboding.Same meaning with -phobia e.g. arachophobia (brrr,ouch...).From old english word -faer-(danger) and -faeran-(frighten).
