You dont have to have I tunes to download music to your ipod, right?

You are right. There are several programs, some free, some you have to pay for, that will do the job. Anapod Explorer, Songbird, try typing iTunes Alternatives into Google and do some research.

Yes you do. Your iPod probably won't recognize any other music program. I know mine didn't recognize Windows Media Player. Go to www.iTunes.com and download it. It doesn't take that long and it's very easy to use!

You do need to download iTunes...
or you can use one of the discs from iTunes to download the program if your computer isn't hooked to an online service!

That is not right, i know people who use lime wire.com with ipods and this site works with every mp3 player on earth - http://www.ipod-vibez.com -
