This is a tough question. You need to really be an established Prem club (with a large(ish) fan base) so I'd go for Newcastle, since there is potential up there and the current board is not too popular!

Bolton Wanderers!
Without huge transfer funds, and only a couple of years ago playing in the old Division One, they have come on the brink of European qualification. Just imagine what they would be capable of with an extravagant transfer kitty and Big Sam at the helm of the team!!

Although i don't support them or any other team in the premier league, i would buy Tottenham as they are a good team with a good manager and good foundations for the club and a lot of support. They also play in Europe and with a bit of cash, could buy extra players and push for a Champions League place.

I would be tempted to go with a team like Middlesborough, expectations are sort of mid-table and they're already set with a modern stadium that could very easily be expanded so anyone coming in would be able to give Gareth Southgate a decent transfer budget right away.

interesting question... it will be a toss up between arsenal, spurs, newcastle and everton...
probably go with everton as the london clubs are a bit on the high side... newcastle is rich with tradition but the rivalries do not really make interesting television...
perhaps i'll go for everton! the derby with pools will make interesting viewing... and potentially it is value for money...

Think the Glaizer's may have answered that question for you?
People don't make money by being dumb, the premier league has always been dominated by the 'big four' look outside of that and you'd have to invest a hell of a lot of money to get anywhere it's a big risk that even the'tycoons' aren't willing to take!

I would definitely buy Man U from Glazer and make them as good as Chelsea.
Thanx!
