Well, I think that no one knew the extent of his idiocy at that early stage. Not even Hillary. Those who voted against the resolution didn't do so because they distrusted Bush, they did so because they believed we didn't need to go into Iraq for any reason - big difference. No one knew back then just how incompetent or deceptive Bush would prove to be.

Bush didn't deceive anyone, and no one knows that better than the Clintons (both of them).
Clinton was the one who documented Iraq's reconstituting of their dual-use WMD program and in great detail.
Clinton was the one who received the eye-witness accounts of terrorist training at Salman Pak, including the training of commercial plane hi-jackings.
Clinton was the one who put an end to Iraq's VX nerve gas program by bombing the Sudan.
Clinton is the one who passed the Iraq Liberation Act in 1998.
Bush has nothing to do with it. Liberals are mentally incapable of facing reality, and that includes the Clintons, obviously, if their selective memory filters these things out.

Is anyone stupid to take the word of the elected leader of the "free world" and the scores of folks whom testified to congress?
If that is true, the majority of America would be stupid by logical extention of that argument.

That is exactly what I was wondering. How can he be a "moron" and "an evil genius mastermind of 9/11 and implementer of the Vulcan mind control device on all of Congress".

It is all flip-flopping.
Bush presented the facts of intelligence he got from the CIA, the Russians, the British and yes, those fun loving French.
So, why now does everyone want to point the finger at the President? And, why do the loons believe the finger pointing?

Right after 911 many people believed Iraq was dangerous, Myself included. The only differance is now, the war should be over. We are done there, they don't want us there.

"There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again."
Clinton's mistake was believing that the president of the United States wouldn't lie to congress about something so important.
The "logic" of your argument doesn't hold water.
